cups sweetened or brown sugar-
flavoured oat square cereal

cup sliced almonds

tbsp butter, melted

tsp apple pie spice made from
powdered cinnamon, nutmeg, clove,
dried ginger, and all spice in the ratio

cup dried cherries and/or raisins
PREPARATION
1. Preheat oven to 300°F. In a 15x10x1
inch baking pan, combine cereal and
almonds. In a small bowl, stir together
melted butter, apple pie spice, and a dash
of salt. Drizzle butter mixture over cereal
mixture; toss gently to evenly coat cereal
and almonds.
2. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until almonds
are toasted, stirring once. Cool snack mix
in pan on a wire rack for
20
minutes.
3. Stir in dried cherries. Cool completely.
Store tightly covered at room temperature
for up to

week.

PREPARATION
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread
roasted soya beans in an even layer in
a 15x10x1 inch baking pan. Combine
thyme, garlic salt, and mirch powder in
a small bowl. Sprinkle the soya beans
with the thyme mixture. Bake for 5
minutes or just until heated through,
shaking pan once. Cool completely.
